Leon looked up at the white ceiling, feeling weird about what transversed.
"Now what is this? Isn't this a cultivation world so why didn't they just give me a pill or panacea that can cure me easily?"Leon grumbled looking at the bandages on his stomach.
He planned to pretend unconscious so that Seph would let the matter go as villains generally don't bother with ants unless you crawl before them but Su Lin just made the matter bigger.
"The only positive thing about this whole incident is that Seph had yet to purchase medical skills. If he had grandmaster-level medical skills then he would have surely known that I was pretending which also means the divine doctor route hasn't started."

"You smell surprisingly pleasant," Leon nonchalantly sniffed Su Lin, making her blush.
"Stop playing around. You are behaving oddly. Previously you always followed around Ella and never dared to refute or speak even though she slapp..."
Su Lin's words stuck in her mouth feeling a bone-chilling gaze from Leon.
"She had even slapped me," Leon asked aloud as his eyes became darker than a black hole sucking a person's soul who looked at him.
He didn't have the memory of every second so he didn't remember this kid still licking her feet even after being slapped.

"Stop smiling like that."Su Lin knocked Leon's head, unable to stand that creepy smile.
"Do you have a split personality? Sometimes you behave like a normal guy while sometimes like a mad man?"
"I might have."Leon shrugged his shoulders, not bothering to waste time on these stupid questions.
"Miss Su, no need to look for trouble with Seph," Leon advised kindly as he knew the result.
"Why? I was about to file a complaint," Su Lin asked with a frown
Leon's lips twitched hearing this.
'You go there intending to create trouble then come back after becoming his wife. Pure souls are quite frightening once they blacken.'

'It's not as if it matters as in that case I need to rip one more head. It's quite simple.'"Don't mess with him."
"But he is being too much. We need to do something about him."Su Lin pouted, feeling that Leon was reprimanding him.
"You can't. Greymore and Su's had an equal standing. Previously, Seph didn't show many prospects but now he is the star of society while you, in the end, are a woman. Your Su family won't back you up if you fall into trouble."
Su Lin frowned and was about to refute.
"Even if your father is the Patriarch that doesn't mean he owned the family. If he makes a wrong move, he will be thrown back. So don't meddle in my affairs anymore lest you bring yourself trouble. Also, let go of the principal for now. If I had power, I would have my revenge. If not, it's better to let it go."Leon's words softened a bit.
He patted Su Lin's shoulders and walked away.
It didn't matter if Su Lin looked for trouble but he didn't want her to fight for him and get harassed.
